Please note that the Communications Department at the Gijón Open offers assistance and support exclusively to media professionals.

All non-media related queries should be directed to the public service office:

The accreditation process will be open until Wednesday the 5th of October for media representatives who wish to cover the 2022 Gijón Open live. Any applications received after this date will not be considered.

The only way to apply is online by clicking on the following link and completing the form:

Simply submitting your application DOES NOT automatically guarantee that your request will be granted. You will receive written confirmation via email confirming whether your application has been either approved or denied.

You must first register online to create a username and password. Following that, you will receive a confirmation by email with instructions on how to make your accreditation application.

This initial stage, however, is not necessary if you have previously registered on the TMS system for past events such as the Davis Cup, Billie Jean King Cup or other ATP tournaments. If that is the case, please use the username and password you have already set up in order to apply for the accreditation (if you cannot remember your login details, you can request help to recover your password).

Freelancers must also attach an application letter from the media outlet they are representing. The letter must be signed and stamped by the manager. Fan pages and other non-news websites will not be granted accreditation.

For more information, please consult the process guide, which is available in the attached document.

If you are interested in booking a room at the official tournament hotel, please send an email to as soon as possible. Rooms are subject to availability.
